i took dryer sheets as my subject and made them into this:

i had this done last week but i felt bad for the class, seemed like everyone wanted to leave

typeface

this is a prototype of a typeface i want to design....i actually invented this typeface when i was a kid i always use to use this typeface when i drew letters...
i also wanna experiment with creating type using things we see everyday on the street, not sure what i wanna do yet, also thinking of doin a series of pasters with my own hand drawn type....

hey guys ive been sick 4 a while i havent had the chance to work on it till 2day, but i realized i wanna start from scratch again....so i dont have anything now, im tryin to find new data.....still not sure on what i wanna do yet tho

THIS IS MY INFOGRAPHIC, I PUT MANY HOURS INTO IT AND IAM PROUD OF THE OUTCOME...THE ONLY THING IAM NOT TO CONFIDENT ABOUT IS THE IMAGERY, I THINK THE GAS MASK MAY BE CONFLICTING WITH THE INFORMATION, IDK MAYBE IAM JUST STRESSIN IT TOO MUCH, LET ME KNO WHAT U GUYS THINK ABOUT THAT THO......

I CHOSE A COLOR PALETTE AND I STUCK WITH, I THINK THE RED SEEMS TO STEAR AWAY FROM THE FROM THE COLOR PALETTE BUT I WAS LIMITED TO HOW MUCH IC AN USE THE RED, BUT I LOVED TEH RED TYPE ON THE GREEN "POLLUTION." MAYBE IAM BEING TOO PICKY AGAIN.....WELL THATS ALLL FOLKS SEE ON WEDNESDAY

i restarted the whole thing from scratch, completely redid the grid, and i also experimented with breaking it....new type faces, still not done tho.......

more progress

rite now iam still just setting the type, i fooled around with kerning and leading, but the job still is not done...needs to be tweeked alot more.....plus i still need add more copy, but iam just having a hard time using 12 different typefaces for this project.......let me kno what you guys think, be honest and if u can give some pointers as to finding a less painful way of fixing kerning (so i dont have any rivers and ponds in my copy) in Indesign. Im not great with Indesign and it tends to become a lil fustrating when dealing with large amounts of copy.....
